Fall Merit Badge Clinic- Hill City Merit Badge Academy

Saturday, August 21, 2010 (All day)

This is the District Merit Badge Clinic. The District only offers these clinics twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. The boys HAVE TO EARN merit badges to advance in rank. They can choose their badges. It is an opportunity to explore and learn new things. It is not a bad idea to choose an Eagle badge but clinics usally want scouts to be at least first class before they start working on the Eagle badges. This clinic is different from others in that YOU THE PARENT must register your boy. Follow the link below. For every 4 scouts who sign up we need an adult to sign up and stay at the clinic. Kathy Buelow is signed up as our first adult volunteer for the day.

The first annual Hill City Merit Badge Academy will be held at Hill City Elementary School in Jasper, Pickens County Saturday August 21st.
30 different merit badges will be offered. Scouts may earn two merit badges.
The new Scouting Heritage Merit Badge will be offered along with three of the Historical Merit Badges.
